We would need the following documents in order to complete the filing procedures:<\/p>\n

Power of attorney<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Power of attorney should be singed before a Notary Public and legalized with the Hague Apostille.<\/p>\n

Priority Document\/s (if claiming priority under the\u00a0Paris\u00a0Convention)<\/p>\n

A certified copy of the foreign application (only certified by the\u00a0Patent\u00a0Office of the country of origin).<\/p>\n

Kindly note that according to Circular Letter No. 11 of the Argentine\u00a0Patent\u00a0Office, the Spanish translation of the priority document should be certified by an Argentine Public Translator.<\/p>\n

If the specification and claims of the priority document are not the same as the text to be filed in\u00a0Argentina, a comparing translation must be effected in order to provide the Argentine\u00a0Patent\u00a0Office with an accurate translation of said document. Our charge for comparing and certifying the Spanish translation of the priority document is U$S 6,50.- per 100 words.<\/p>\n

Moreover, if the text of the priority document is the same than the specification filed in our country, an Argentine Public Translator should certify the Spanish translation attached to the priority document. Our charge for certifying said translation is U$S 5.- per page.<\/p>\n

One\u00a0of the alternatives below should be chosen to assign priority rights when the Argentine applicant is different from the applicant of the priority application.<\/p>\n

Copy of the Assignment Document filed with the foreign\u00a0Patent\u00a0Office:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

If you send us a\u00a0copy\u00a0of the Assignment Document filed before the foreign\u00a0Patent\u00a0Office, the same should be\u00a0notarized and legalized with Apostille, or, in any event, legalized by the nearest Argentine Consulate.<\/p>\n

Please bear in mind that the term for filing the priority document and the assignment document\/sworn declaration of inventors falls due after 90 days as from the Argentine application filing date and such date is unextendable.<\/p>\n
